Ocean Conservancy Financial Reports

For more than thirty years, Ocean Conservancy has been a leader in the environmental community, compiling an impressive list of accomplishments, including recognition in Worth Magazine as one of America's Top 100 Charities. Over 500,000 volunteers and members help to make our success possible.

With the recent explosion of options for charitable giving, donors have come to expect publicly available proof of accountability when making contributions. We encourage donors to make informed giving decisions.

Ocean Conservancy's volunteer Board of Directors provides oversight and determines the direction of the organization, holding staff to the highest standards for excellence and accountability. Ocean Conservancy is a tax-exempt not-for-profit 501c(3) organization. Contributions made to Ocean Conservancy are tax deductible.

During 2004, Ocean Conservancy changed its fiscal year end from April 30 to September 30 to better match reporting to our operating cycle, thereby improving our ability to assess our financial position and manage performance.
